The Miss Universe Beauty Pageant is now underfire by having it’s contestant pose half naked only using body paints for a new set of promotional images. The Miss Universe Beauty Pageant 2010 will be aired live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, the two-hour show will be hosted by Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales.

“It’s alarming that this has been turned into a Playboy-esque masquerade,” Angie Meyer, a former pageant employee, told Fox News. “By implementing topless photos as part of the pageant process, they’re putting applicants in an extremely compromising position.”

In a recent Miss Universe activity all contestants auctioned some memorabilia and our very own Miss Philippines brought two items first is a pearl necklace which was auctioned at a price of $1200 and a pair of boxing gloves signed by pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao which was sold $450 a piece. Other notable piece in the auction is from Miss Great Britain Tara Vaitiere Hoyos she brought a pair of boxing gloves signed by Ricky Hatton.
